Session Options

Intake is your 1st session.

Regular sessions are on a weekly or biweekly schedule.

Check-in sessions are 20-minute sessions that you have requested between your regular appointments. They are additional support, not replacing a regular weekly or biweekly session.

Maintenance sessions are 60-minute sessions offered monthly for clients who have completed at least 7 months of regular weekly therapy sessions, met most (if not all) initial treatment goals, and wish to transition to a less frequent schedule.

FAQS

How long is a typical session?

Most sessions, including the initial (known as an intake), are between 55 and 60 minutes.

What kind of commitment should I be prepared for?

Clients are recommended to stick to a weekly or bi-weekly schedule to reach treatment goals most efficiently.

What’s the real difference between a virtual session and one in-person?

A virtual session is very similar to an in-person session, with the benefit of sessions being in an environment where you’re most comfortable. This includes the freedom of attending sessions while cooking dinner, waiting in the pick-up line at your kid’s school, relaxing on the couch in your pjs, etc.

Like an in-person session, clients should have privacy for sessions. To ensure this, clients are asked not to attend sessions in public spaces. A few examples include but aren’t limited to having a session while you work out at the gym, while you’re grocery shopping…or when you’re in the breakroom at work (it happens way more than you think).
